This shiatsu technique, done with a partner, uses gentle leverage for one of single best streches you`ll ever get, according to Marrianne Fuenmayor, director of the Motherland Society, an organization of volunteers who teach and perform shiatsu.
- Lie on your back with your partner standing near your fest, facing you. Have your partner stoop down and lift your legs by grasping the bottom of your heels.
- Your partner should stand slowly, stepping toward you until her arms are straight. With your feet in her hands, your parner should rock back onto her heels and lean back. Your work together as counterweights -your partner supporting your legs while you keep her from falling backward. Hold for 30 seconds.
